What is your fee?

My fees are as follows: 

$350 for initial intake 

$350 for 60 minute session

$300 for 45 minute session

Do you have a sliding scale?

Yes. While my fees are set, I encourage clients who otherwise would not be able to start treatment to inquire about a working out a lower price point. 

Do you you take insurance?

I do not take insurance but it is important to me that clients - and perspective clients - understand why. My priority is providing the very best therapeutic experience that is tailored to each individual. Most insurance carriers place limits on the type and length of therapy without taking the individual - or the clinician's expert judgement - into account. Insurance companies often only approve certain treatment modalities and/or specific diagnosis codes. I find that these narrow parameters of what therapy looks like undermines the clinician's expertise as well as the client's experience and progress. 

I am happy to speak to you more about why I have opted to be an Out of Network Provider. Most insurance plans have OoN (Out of Network) benefits and clients will receive the proper documentation to submit for reimbursement. Many of my clients are able to receive reimbursement for a significant portion for the fee.

If you plan on seeking reimbursement for OoN coverage, it can be helpful to call your insurance company ahead of starting therapy to reduce the chance of any financial surprises. These questions may be helpful when calling:    

1. Do I have out of network mental health (or behavioral health) insurance benefits?
2. What is my out of network deductible (if any) and has it been met yet by other medical expenses?
3. What is the coverage amount (or percentage) per therapy session?

What forms of payment do you accept?

Payment is collected through an Electronic Health Record software, Simple Practice. It is a secure and intuitive system that gives clients the choice to pay by credit, debit card or HSA/FSA card. 

Payment is required at the time of service. Clients will be prompted to enroll in the autopay feature when completing their onboarding paperwork. Payment information can be updated at any point by the client as needed. 

Where are you located?

My office is in Pelham, New York (Westchester County). I am currently available to see clients in person in my office or virtually. 

In which states are you licensed?

Currently I hold a license in NY, NJ, CT and MA. 

Can I work with you if I live in another state (besides where you are licensed)?

Yes, on a case by case basis. Some individuals may be able to work with me in the capacity of consultation/coaching. Please note that out of state* sessions that are billed as coaching are not reimbursable by out of network benefits. (*Out of state meaning anywhere outside of the states in which I am licensed: NY, NJ, CT and MA.)
